Oh yes, I'm a friend and a fan too.
" When I'm sunning,
I have on
 Half A Cafe Night
and nothing else :-)     I live
and love by Larry's slogan,
Have a Cafe Naughty . . . uh
I mean nightie . . . I mean
night!
Have A Cafe Night! "
BEACHGAL ~ Charleston, SC
I have been a friend of Larry's
and a fan.  I can't make it out
to where Larry is singing all
the time because I live in
another state.  But I have his
CDs and listen to them in the
morning when I'm getting
ready for work and in my car.
You should too

"Definitely a talented and soulful guy."  Gigi, South Carolina
I have been a friend of Larry's since the early days
of Schuler and Beck in Charleston, SC.  I was a
witness and he was Rock and Roll!  I watched and
listened as they grew from acoustic folk rock to a
dynamic electric rockin' duo who could hold their
own with any band.
I love the
Vampire
Song
for it's subtle
message and drive.
Also,  I love
Fivevermore
for it's unique and
melodic loveliness.

Wow! I hear music!
I now remember how much
I loved hearing you sing
and play.  I apparently had
something screwed up on
my computer, (just got a new
one at work), and now I can
listen to the songs on your
website!
Cool and very very nice!! :-)

Awesome sounding.
Very peaceful and calming
to me while I work.

Larry,
It was so good
to hear you.
I have worn your
cd out!

Blessings,  Gail
I've been a Larry Beck fan
since I first saw him at the
Bluebird Cafe in Oct,  2000.
He was playing this lost love
song that involved vampires.
I loved it.  When I moved to
Nashville, Larry was one of
the first people with whom
I struck up a regular con-
versation about music and
the more of his stuff I heard,
the more impressed I became.
I haven't heard something
I don't like yet.  I kept telling
him he needed to record
something that I could take
with me when I left town at
the end of July.  He gave me
this tape with a song that I
knew and one that I didn't.
The one that I didn't was
"The Joy Ride."  When I got
it, I listened to it about 30
times.  I could just see the
whole song in my mind.

"Beauty is a smile...
When you say, 'hello...'
To someone who's
been left alone."

What a great line!  I wish I had
thought of it.  It's about so
much more than a bus ride...
a very simple story that gives
a very deep message.  Life is
a joy ride, and we encounter
all kinds of people along the
way. And if we would all, "be
kind,"  we might just make
this joy ride more joyful.
Chris Serger/Cincinnati, Oh.

Larry,
I really like your version
of "When I Get Back to
Charleston . . ."  Your
voice sounds great
and I like how it is more
up~tempo.  I like
"I Am Alive" and
"Amor"  a lot too.
Thanks for singing my
song.

Are you still the, "Saint of

graphs are BEAUTIFUL!!!  I'm
amazed that you took them
and that you have a creek of
that caliber all to yourself
especially in Nashville.
 That
must have been a wonderful
year.
I am practically surprised that
you took time off from music.
For some reason I wouldn't
have imagined you could do that.

Good luck putting together the perfect
show.  I'm sure it will be a good one.
I HOPE I can play in your show
sometime.  Tell your creek I said, "Hi."
Love, Julien
